Self-identified Apsara Research is at it again. This recent Seeking Alpha article mentioning old ACTC company history is laughable.

The recent tide has run-up to .09 and has caught them swimming naked.

Every time we start to move up they publish trash. It is not even current. It is a very deceiving article.

And, then they mention OSIR and fail to acknowledge the Canada approval of stem cell use last week. There was nothing of substance in that article ... disinegenuous at best, totally dishonest and misleading at worst! Sad, to say the least!

Why don't some of our more knowledgeable posters comment and refute?

If that is what passes for "journalism" these days, we're doomed! ;-)

The author is mocking himself IMO. He is openly short but is looking backward and not forward. He dragged ACTC only to show West had his hand in this company, but its been half a decade since he had anything to do with this company. It is clearly blowing up in his face and unfortunately for this individual that has an agenda he showed his desperation. NO ONE IS PAYING ATTENTION TO THIS BIASED AUTHOR because this article has desperation written all over it, and he obviously was not present at the World Stem Cell Conference or he would be long. Full disclosure: I am long ACTC

By the way, this is not an investigative journalist with a credible job. It is someone that had his article published for free in hopes of helping him make money FOR HIS BENEFIT. He placed a bet, and is clearly now not liking that he is in too deep to cover here, so if he could fool investors maybe he could cover lower, but sophisticated investors have delved further into each company, and see the exact opposite of his assertions. Everything he mentions IS PAST HISTORY. If stem cells were a failure, how can he deny the explosive growth in clinical trials and partnerships with big pharma, the fat that there are departments of regenerative medicine at the top institutions in the world, there are iconic people and superstar athletes seeking stem cell treatments, and in general, the overall popular sentiment is very favorable for the future of cellular treatment. He screwed up, and refuses to cover or hoping to cover lower, but he obviously did not do his due diligence. Good luck with that short position lol

On a side note, bought some more this morning and: E*TRADE CAPITAL MARKETS EXEC SRVCS/CHXL filled my order. Perhaps we're getting some new MM's? Any one else buying in the past few days seeing some new routes for orders being filled?

Bought last week but I did not notice anything different in the order processing. I also purchased through Etrade.

I trade with fidelity, so never saw that one. Probably nothing, just caught my eye.

Gee, did anyone see that a stem cell company rang the openinig bell on the NDAQ this am? Guess they didn't read Seeking Alpha's article that stem cells are a "thing of the past"?

Gary probably gave as strong a presentation as his information supports. Marcus has improved vision. The rise in the shares value has been nice A look at the buy sell book Lv 2 shows neither strong buying nor selling pressures. The caveat is always that all interested party information might not be posted. There is no posted buy interest of $9000. Again this just says no one went to the can and left buy orders posted at .089 or .086 or .082 of that size. The pps has risen for 6 of the last 5 days.

      ******************************************
It is 10:37 and there are 1,000,000 shares listed for sale below 9 cents. The daily volume traded so fartoday is about 1,400,000.
      it is what it is

      ************************************************** *

It is 11:00 the daily volume may be 100,000 higher. The million plus lined up for sale have been pulled from the ask listing. Does it matter that 1,000,000 plus shares were availble for sale at prices below 9 cents just within the past hour?
The pps has risen a lot in the past week. Trades were going through above 9 cents earlier today.
The BB have spread out to cover 7 to 9 cents.

      ****????****************************

12:10 and trades went thru at .08 and the volume is less than 3,000,000

In the past I've noticed Fidelity will route through many different MM's for ACTC. Nothing unusual.

for big PHARMA what is to be lost in obsolete meds still far outweighs profits to be made through regen meds and stem cell therapies so delay at any cost is their current strategy including manipulating the pps and buying stupid articles like this.act being on the forefront of reg med is particularly vulnerable to their efforts.clearly just my own hop?

Just thinking that Doc bob is probably deciding on his next trade. He is occassionally heard at market pivot points. It may even be a buy if shareholders here had their wishes come true.
It is just a feeling .. sometimes a feeling is just indigestion.

But, by the looks of things, it works! BTX, OSIR, ACTC all down a fair %. It was perfect timing AFTER GR's presentation. Now, we go into a quieter period, so it's easy to sell us down again!

Anyone planning to buy the dips after Marcus confirmation?

I put some positive article links to counter the links in the article, immediately, and the moderator for that page - assuming it's the author - did not let them get published. Just the quick, short responses.

Typical...the agenda of the censor is all that makes the light of day!

This, along with the FB IPO debacle, just shows how disadvantaged the retail investor really is!

From Aspara Biotech Research (the author's) website...An excerpt from their "legal" disclaimer...

If the report discusses a given stock as being overvalued and has a negative sentiment towards the stock, you should assume that Apsara has a short position in the stock covered, or otherwise benefits in the event of a price decline. If the report discusses a given stock as being undervalued and has a positive sentiment towards the stock, you should assume that Apsara has a long position in the stock covered, or otherwise benefits in the event of a price increase

I wouldn't take anything this company writes as anything more than them pushing their own agenda and hoping to make a quick buck pushing a few stocks one way or the other (whichever way they happen to be holding)...
