Frustrated with well meaning Govt that can NOT get out of its own way

After listening to the recorded version of the NIH meeting and hearing that waiting for Sherley matter to be resolved is the REASON for not moving forward on some endeavors is a perfect example of government CRATES that have never ever spent one minute employed by anyone other than the Federal Govt. I was sued 11 times when my business was expanding by those that did not like me taking business, NEVER stopped me from pushing forward on my business plan. Is it or is it NOT the Mission of the NIH to NIH’s mission is to seek fundamental knowledge about the nature and behavior of living systems and the application of that knowledge to enhance health, lengthen life, and reduce the burdens of illness and disability. Waiting TWO years to approve FOUR Stem Cell Lines from ACT that could not only provide a medical purpose to improve health for millions BUT also to CHANGE the discussion on "Embryo-Safe" and bring the ethical debate on hESC research to a logical end.. Man what a miss and an epic fail this. Not moving forward because we do not want to get sued? really shameful.
I would have to say that ACT going to China is genious for a JVP to get non-dilutive revenue is genious. The NIH and CIRM have turned its collective Backs on ACT @ this point.
CIRM approves $27 million for initiatives to accelerate promising stem cell research projects

The External Innovation Initiative, which is part of the agency’s Opportunity Funds, allows CIRM to identify outstanding research taking place within the jurisdiction of any of the agency’s external collaboration network of funding partners. These partners, including 12 countries, two international states, one domestic state, two foundations, and most recently CIRM’s collaborative relationship with the National Institutes of Health, are available on the CIRM website
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, let me get this straight, So ACT is not considered promising research? the ONLY 2 FDA approved hESC human clinical trials is NOT considered "Promising".
If I was a resident of California I would ask the following to the CIRM and explain why 12 Countries are getting funds and not instate Corporations? The mission of CIRM is to support and advance stem cell research and regenerative medicine under the highest ethical and medical standards for the discovery and development of cures, therapies, diagnostics and research technologies to relieve human suffering from chronic disease and injury.
Ok so support Regenerative Medicine? I am not getting this mission. How does CIRM not have given ACT a $100,000 or $4,309,098?
I am amazed.
