Pictures of TJ on Tory's site!

Handsome young lad - looks happy which is great to see. No Idea if the treatment's working based on her post, but happy to see the smiles on their faces.

Despite the fact that I didn't win a shirt, it was a great posting. Thanks again Tory, if you are reading this!

I say Geron opens Monday up 2% based on looks alone. If TJ was fat or ugly, it would have gone down 2%. Embryonic stem cells shots are cool - handsome guys do it!

Any MDs out there with experience with paraplegia? Do paraplegics have bowel and bladder control, colostomy bag and catheter?

No cord injury is alike. Bowel and bladder is usually affected. Issues like that are commonly overlooked. They are far more complications that come along with a cord injury than not be able to walk. Giving someone back feeling and control over their bowel and bladder function is far more important than getting them to walk again. Been paralyzed for 16 years now.

Hopefully these kinds of symptoms are alleviated with the treatments for TJ, and some day for you too Riddakilla. Peace

Thanks a lot Hort. All of these issues will eventually be worked out. The question is when. I am interested in seeing what the clinical trials of stemcells Inc and neuralstem produce. Their treating the chronic spinal cord injuries. I'm figuring they got about 15 to 20 years left before they perfect this treatment. Any improvement is good for now.

I know Geron was approved to treat one patient a month, do we know if any others have been treated? I believe we are going to see positive results. Exciting stuff.

Now that they have the ability to evaluate safety results from the first patient, I'd imagine they will begin recruting a larger population. I'm sure they will make a press release once they do. Doubt they have done so already.
