I admit I did, when I thought stem Cell companies were going to go through the roof. I have since bought more, and <$5, but any idea when it will really take off? Every week, its 'next week'. Now that TJ has revealed himself, will this be the catalyst to make it GROW as it should?

    Hi 2retire,

If you invested back in IPO days then recall the 2 good 2 be true press releases from our friend P.T. West. Since West left and Caldwell took over & now Mr. Rabin, we have never had a "West" type press release. ACT is moving like a Glacier, We can not see it moving, but if we watched it in fast forward speed we see the evolution. ACT has money, more than enough money to see the AMD/SMD clinicals through through P 1/2. ACT owes about 900grand to JMJ Financial. IMO ACT is saving up its AMMO. I say ammo, and I mean Dr. :Lanza. ACT will unleash Dr. Lanza in 2011 to speak about the AMD/SMD trial success. For many a nice holiday gift.

    Hey Feeed,

I think 2retire is refering to Geron, not ACT...but either way I do enjoy your analogy with the glacier. Without knowing the full history of the company/stock, didn't ACT actually go the route of a Reverse Merger and not an IPO?

...sorry just more familiar with GERN, not ACTC.

2retireearly - TJ alone and his revealing will not be the catalyst. IMO, the only catalyst is going to be definitve results and at this time I don't think TJ's revealing has really shown anything of that nature. The safety measure and result (appears ok thus far) are good to know, but the catalyst will be efficacy.

Thanks Ryan, I apologize for the confusing post/.. Geron has two Oncology drugs that will complete p-2 in late 2011 and early 2012. IMO Geron is a buy @ 5 dollars a share and IMO if TJ is more than "GREAT" and walks, stands up on his own on the Today Show nobody will be able to buyGERN for anything less 34 a share 2 days later/.

I am a bagholder who bought GERN in feb 2009 at 8.27. :-) No great issue for me anyway, just holding long term.

And PS, my hope of Retiring Early is only with ACTC, not GERN, BUT would love to make a tidy sum on Gern, too.

Picked up some In-The -Money short term call options so as not to miss any potential short-term upside because of the 19th April CC. I was surprised that the Implied Volatility of the options was still pretty low on Friday (around the mid 30's) thereby resulting in relative cheap call option prices - if GERN goes up to $6 anytime till option expiry date in mid June 2011 then these options could give a return around 100%.

Disclaimer: Options are not for everyone and one can lose the entire investment - please do your DD or seek professional financial advice if you invest in options
