    Explain Your Avatar Here

I find the some of the avatars on Icell so interesting but I don't exactly know what it is or I don't know the story behind it . I wanted to post a thread here that people could tell the story behind their avatars.

Mine is simply an illustration or picture representation of my (perceived) likeness. Its from the late 60's to early 70's TV program 'Get Christy Love" starring Theresa Graves which was one of the first television programs that represesented a strong Black female in a starring role and a stand alone character that drove the show. Unheard of in the time when I, as a young girl, searched for my likeness and a role model on tv. I could only find maids and hookers and such in supporting character roles. She is a dark, strong, articulate leader that I like to flatter myself to think I remotely resemble (or would at least like to resemble).

    So, whats yours??

It reminds me of a slightly twisted Cheshire Cat - Cheshire, hence the cats grin because of the abundance of milk and cream. I invested in the stock for the possibility of the abundance of milk and cream. The twisted evil part - we all know the warts and risk associated with this investment.

Hey eitherhalf! Took my photo avatar in December while walking. Because I live where it supposedly rains from October or November until June, I was trying to show what colorful sunsets can be viewed from Bainbridge Island WA, even in winter. .......just a native Southerner living in the gorgeous Puget Sound area of the great Northwest!

Isaac, That is thee best. Wish I thought of that first.

Love it when he can't find cream or milk for his White Russian and pours in half a container of Cremora instead.

It's quite possibly my favorite movie of all time. Maybe after the shareholder meeting I'll switch it to Walter

I think everyone has a friend or two like those characters. In the very beginning of the movie you know they are going to screw up the ransom...and they do because you know them. You just know.

Mine is the logo for my rare book business...that I designed as an homage to the Russian Constructivists

I specialize in rare books on modernism in the visual arts (that is a book inside a stylized eye.) But it seemed to fit ACTC if you didn't know that! La coincedenza!
