    More Rot At The Top....

The amount of corruption taking place within our government and our financial institutions is astonishing, and I continue to be believe that we're not even seeing the tip of the iceberg. The amazing thing is that there never seems to be any negative consequences for the perpetrators. A kid holding up a convenience store for $50 goes to jail for years, while our white-collar criminals are coddled.

When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic. Sell not liberty to purchase power. - Benjamin Franklin

The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first. - Thomas Jefferson

This stuff will never end until we get serious campaign finance reform. To run for a Senate seat in a big state like NY or CA, you have to raise $50 to $100 million bucks. And guess where most of that money comes from--- it comes from corporations and people who have an interest in controlling the legislative agenda! Our elected officials are up to their eyeballs in a pay-to-play racket, and it's all perfectly legal. The Founding Fathers would roll in their graves if they could see what is happening to the beautiful democracy that they designed 200 years ago.

In my country Ministers of the Crown have been sacked and jailed for misuse of taxpayers money. No leniency shown to those that use the public purse to their own advantage. Even Ministers who travel without full disclosure or excess travel costs are scrutinized.

It's all rotten at the top. This is just another plan to consolidate the banks a bit more and bankrupt a few more countries in the process. You can't buy all the land and real estate for dirt cheap until those banks are OOB. The Iran war should be starting any day now. Some false flag op to get her moving nice and quick...

Those wondering why the Department of Justice has refused to go after Jon Corzine for the vaporization of $1.6 billion in MF Global client funds need look no further than the documents uncovered by the Government Accountability Institute that reveal that the now-defunct MF Global was a client of Attorney General Eric Holder and Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer’s former law firm, Covington & Burling.
    There’s more.
Records also reveal that MF Global’s trustee for the Chapter 11 bankruptcy retained as its general bankruptcy counsel Morrison & Foerester--the very law firm from which Associate Attorney General Tony West came to DOJ.
    And more.
As Government Accountability Institute President Peter Schweizer explains in the Washington Times Thursday, the trustee overseeing MF Global’s bankruptcy is former FBI Director Louis Freeh. At Holder’s Senate confirmation hearing Freeh served as a character witness for Holder and revealed that Holder had previously worked for Freeh. “As general counsel,” Freeh said, “I could have engaged any lawyer in America to represent our bank. I chose Eric.”
Until now, the conventional wisdom for why Holder wouldn’t throw the book at Corzine was that Corzine is an Obama campaign bundler. Indeed, as Breitbart News reported, four of the top officials at the Department of Justice--Eric Holder, Thomas Perrelli, Karol Mason, and Tony West--were also big money bundlers for Obama.
But the newly understood crony connections reveal conflicts of interest that extend well beyond mere political support for a common candidate--they go to a tangle of prior business dealings that further underscore the need for a special prosecutor in the Corzine case.
At least 65 members of Congress have already signed a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder requesting that he appoint a special prosecutor to investigate MF Global’s collapse and the loss of $1.6 billion in customer money. What’s more, even progressives have begun to wonder whether Holder’s Covington & Burling connection explains why the Department of Justice has not charged, prosecuted, or jailed a single Wall Street executive after the biggest financial collapse in American history.
As Richard Eskow of the Huffington Post recently wrote:
More and more Washington insiders are asking a question that was considered off-limits in the nation's capital just a few months ago: Who, exactly, is Attorney General Eric Holder representing? As scandal after scandal erupts on Wall Street, involving everything from global lending manipulation to cocaine and prostitution, more and more people are worrying about Holder's seeming inaction -- or worse -- in the face of mounting evidence.
    This isn’t going away.
Both the left and the right are onto Holder’s Wall Street head fake. With the revelation of the new crony connections, the time for Eric Holder to appoint a special prosecutor in the Corzine/MF Global case is now.

    Thanks Ike,

But there are those with preconcieved notions or who have something to lose will never change their minds or action!!!! They will simply feel that "They all do it so why expect MY man to not enjoy the fruits of sin, after all he is doing good by me"!!! Sad but true!!!!

This administration is so corrupt for someone who had the audacity to run on "hope and change" in 2008. What a joke! Valerie Jarrett ignoring a warning e-mail on Solyndra going under, and STILL pushed for the $500,000,000 "pay off" for bundling to Obama. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, IT IS A DUCK. Don't like the Defense of Marriage law? Refuse to defend it in court. Congress won't pass the "Dream Act" granting amnesty to a million illegals? Do it yourself by executive fiat. Don't want to defend America's borders? Sue states that do. Don't like congressional inquiries? Ignore their subpoenas. How can this crap be defended by the left?
    Ike

PS Just saw this from Chuck Norris (I usually run from the opinions of actors and entertainer but this hit me as on-the-money":Obama elevates himself above the U.S. Constitution -- which contains the rulebook for his presidency -- discarding and bypassing its principles and tenets.
What should be of grave concern to every American citizen is that President Obama has described the Constitution as "an imperfect document ... a document that reflects some deep flaws ... (and) an enormous blind spot." He also said, "The Framers had that same blind spot."
In so doing, the president established a rationale and justification for disregarding, disavowing and disposing the Constitution from oversight and obedience in his administration and decisions, which he swore to uphold when sworn in to office. To add insult to injury, Obama places himself above the Constitution and those "blind Framers," who just couldn't see the big picture as he does today. After all, he's the constitutional scholar, and the Framers were just, well, the creators of the document!
Today the Constitution tragically conforms to and serves the White House's political whims, not vice versa. It's time we stop that constitutional chaos and return to the founding principles, limited government and taxation, and freedoms of our early republic, whether we like them or not.
