Underwriter Exercise Neuralstem Overallotment Option, Boost Gross Proceeds to $2.76 Million

04:41 PM EDT, 08/15/2012 (MidnightTrader) — Underwriters have exercised their over-allotment option with Neuralstem’s (CUR:$0.515,0$-0.145,0-21.97%) public offering of 6 million shares earlier today, purchasing an additional 900,000 shares at the $0.40 a share offering and lifting the gross proceeds to $2.76 million.
CUR shares closed down nearly 22% during the regular session, falling $0.14 to $0.52 apiece on likely dilution concerns.
